About the role

Summit Ridge Cheyenne Medical Center delivers about 900 babies a year for a catchment that stretches across southeastern Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle. Our L&D nurses are the OB safety net for a huge rural region — cross-trained across labor, triage, postpartum, and level II nursery, with OB hospitalist coverage overnight and a tight relationship with the flight team for higher-acuity transfers.

This is full-scope obstetric nursing: you'll catch precipitous deliveries, run magnesium protocols, circulate crash sections, and stabilize the occasional 32-weeker until transport arrives. If you want to be genuinely essential rather than one of forty on a mega-unit, rural OB is where that happens.

Cheyenne offers a 15-minute commute from anywhere in town, Colorado's Front Range an hour south, and a cost of living that makes a nursing salary stretch. Loan repayment and a $15,000 sign-on reflect how much this unit matters to the region.
